Students entering kindergarten this fall are invited to attend the last two weeks of Ava Summer School, June 20-July 1.
During these final two weeks of summer school, incoming kindergarten students will be able to meet some of the kindergarten teachers, fellow students and other elementary staff.
Students will enjoy eating breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria and becoming familiar with the building. This opportunity helps with the transition from Head Start and preschool those first few days in August.
All kindergarten students are encouraged to attend.
Please call the elementary office to register. If your child did not enroll during the May kindergarten screening he/she may still attend summer school. Just stop by the elementary office and complete paper work. The office is open each day from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
