Dwain Herald Jones, of Selah, Wash., passed away at home with family by his side on May 18, 2011.
He was born June 3, 1939, in Rome, Mo., to Vernie Lee Jones and Delcie Alice (Day) Jones.
He graduated from Ava High School in 1955 and at the age of 17 moved to Washington. Dwain met his wife of 53 years, Jo Ann, in 1957 and they established their home in Selah.
They have two children, Rocky Logan Wallace and Rhonda Renee Fuwell.
Dwain worked for 30 years for the city of Selah where he retired as city supervisor.
Dwain was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Jones, of Selah, Wash.; son, Rocky Logan (Terri) Wallace, of Gig Harbor, Wash.; daughter, Rhonda Renee (David) Fuwell, of Selah, Wash.; sisters Betty Cloud, of Selah, Wash., and Loretta Stiles, of Ava; and 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
