St. John’s and the Southwest Missouri Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association are collaborating to host the Seniors Caregiver Conference. The conference will be 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. June 18 at St. John’s Hospital Patient Tower, 1235 E. Cherokee in Springfield.
Focusing on Alzheimer’s disease and other memory loss issues, the conference offers programs and services to ease the burden of caregiving. The day will include an overview of memory disorders, along with information about resources available at St. John’s to meet the concerns of senior caregivers. The issues of driving, living arrangements, and financial assistance will be addressed.
