Church started Sunday morning by singing. Ronnie Epps took over as superintendant and prayer was given by Bro. Woodrow Coonce.
The Sunday school lesson was on the brief history of Israel, I Chronicles 9″1-3, I Chronicles 17:1,2, 7 and 11-15 taught by Ronnie Epps.
After a good Sunday school lesson we sang several songs. Those singing specials were Lena Ingram, Elsie Atchison and Woodrow Coonce. Bro. Raymond Haden brought the message. He read Acts 28:27-28. He prayed then his text was The Salvation of God. He read Hebrew 2:1-3, II Corinthian 6:2, Jude 1:3, Luke 1:77 and Hebrew 5:9. After a good message we sang. We were dismissed by Sister Lena Ingram. Church started Sunday night with prayer by Sister Diane Strunks. We sang several songs. Those singing specials were Elsie Atchison and Raymond and Naida Haden. Prayer was given by Sister Vera Dixon. Bro. Woodrow Coonce brought the message. He prayed then read Matthew 11:28-30 and Revelation 22:17.
After a good message we sang. Prayer was given by Bro. Ronnie Epps dismissed by Sister Naida Haden.
James and Janiece Moore and Charla Heinlein went to Oklahoma Friday to visit then came back Monday.
Elsie Atchison’s children gave her a birthday surprise at Friendship Church Saturday evening. She appreciates all of her relatives and friends who attended.
