We had a good number attending today. It is so humid, its hard to breathe. I have asthma and its really uncomfortable.
Opening Sunday school Joe Lafferty read the 21st chapter of Psalms. Clara Lafferty prayed the opening prayer.
Bro. Lee Hampton taught the 9th chapter of Luke. We had questions and answers.
Roy Hampton took up the offering. Clara Lafferty led the offering prayer.
We had congregational singing. Sue Sisco, Jesse Lafferty sang along with Ashley. Joe Lafferty preached the 11 o’clock hour in Acts the 4th chapter and asked the blessing on the reading of God’s words. Sue Thomas dismissed in prayer.
Evening service started with congregational singing. We had Jesse Lafferty and Roy Hampton preach the service. Jesse Lafferty’s text was St. Luke, chapter 9, verse 23. Roy Hampton’s text was Luke chapter 11 verse 5. They really did a good job preaching. Invitational song was “Must Jesus Bear The Cross Alone.” The service was dismissed in prayer by Jesse Lafferty. Tag the preacher starts at Breedon tonight at 6:00 for prayer, music 6:30 to 7:00.
