Debbie Cederlind came down Friday evening to be with her mother and she and Bonnie Phipps attended the Phipps Reunion Saturday at Walnut Grove’s new kitchen. Bonnie said it was well attended and that Raymond and Naida Haden was there and Raymond sang two songs and she said he still sings really well. Bonnie said lots of the Phipps are gone, but some of the off spring were there. Debbie went back home Saturday evening. Bonnie went to church Sunday.
I went over to the Ava Cemetery to the military service they had there last Monday and then I went down to the Arno Cemetery and decorated the graves down there and then I came on home and mowed some of my yard.
I got up last Tuesday and started mowing again while it was cool and Kay came by and picked up my news for me. Later that afternoon I went into town and visited with Mary Lou and Ronnie Garfit and sister, Kathy. Mary Lou needs your prayers. She took a hard fall.
Wednesday morning I finished my yard and that afternoon I went over and helped set up the sale thing for Thursday and Friday’s O.E.S. sale and we sure appreciated every one that came and bought something from us.
This Thursday night is our O.E.S. and Mason Charity Fundraiser Supper.
Like I said, Thursday and Friday was a good turn out for our O.E.S. Sale.
Saturday I went and got some groceries and then I stopped by Tara and Justin’s and Kristie was there holding little Jett and she gave him to me for a while and then James and Lakota came in from ball practice and I had to leave because I had to get my groceries home.
Saturday afternoon I went to the grand opening of Jam Dandy Recording Studio and My Brother’s Place and listened to the singing and watched the dancers. It was hot, but some of us stayed in one of the buildings and looked out of the windows until the sun went down.
Sunday after church I went over to Ronnie and Mary Lou Garfit’s and their sister Kathy and Mona was there.
Total rain for May was 8.7 inches at my place.
Lets keep praying for all the sick folks and our church families that are sick.
My sympathy and prayers go out to all that have lost loved ones.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
