I was pleasantly surprised last week when I made contact with my cousin in El Cajon, California. It was her 74th birthday and I hadn’t talked to her for over 40 years.
I was also surprised when three of my nieces came to visit and stayed for a light lunch with us. They were Tom and Leona Hamilton from Claremore, Oklahoma, Darlene Carnall and Cathy Hood from Mansfield, MO.
My youngest daughter, Becky Carter, came down on Saturday and did some deep cleaning for me. Then Rusty and Maeson Carter came to get her.
Bevy Moore, Donna Bannister and I went to Nixa on Monday, for Maeson Carter’s birthday party then Maeson came home with us to spend a few days until Wednesday.
