Sandy Church

We began with standing and reading our devotional from Ephesians 3.  Prayer requests were shared for our service today, the city of Joplin, Lenora Burton, the revival at New Mansion, Imogene Ewing and, always, our loved ones, our nation, leaders and troops.  Doyle Humbyrd prayed this prayer.

Happy birthday was sung to Ashton Crum, who will be 17 on Monday.  Hope you have a great one, Ashton.

At 11 a.m., testimonies were shared.  Brother Van Menzies was our preacher.  He read from Mark 9, “Lord, I believe, help thou mine unbelief”.  He said, “God is so good to us; when will we do our part”?

At 2 p.m., some went to the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center for a service there.  Pastor Neal preached.  LeaAnn and Erin Crum sang as well as others.

At 6 p.m., Peggy Miller prayed our beginning prayer.  Testimonies were shared.

LeaAnn and Erin Crum sang for us.  Pastor Neal prayed and read from Luke and Hebrews, Jesus and the New Covenant.

On Saturday, several came to church for a work day and much was done.  We are gaining, but not there yet.

Several from our church attended the revival at New Mansion.  It was done by young ministers including our own, Van Menzies, as well as Jeff D Marsh, Corby Lux, David Koenig, Josh Johannas and Josh Hume.  The spirit was good and so was the fellowship.

It is camp time again at White River Campgrounds.  Some of these young ministers will be evangelists at the camps.  Our church group cleaned the kitchen on Wednesday night and then went to the revival.

Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer time and Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible Study with Pastor Neal in the book of Genesis.

Come and worship with us.
