We send greetings to all the birthday people who have their special day at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come.
This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. On Friday Harold and Ilene Easley of Fordland came down then Evelyn Witchey and Fae Pruett joined them and went and decorated graves at the Huffman Cemetery. Then we went to Mansfield and had lunch at the Lion’s Den Café.
On Sunday morning Larry Hutchinson came and got Fae Pruett. Fae, Wanda and Larry went to Sunday school and church at Eastern Gate. After church we went to the Harvill Cemetery and decorated graves and had lunch with a large number of relatives and friends. I enjoyed getting to see a lot of people I hadn’t seen in a long time. Larry and Wanda brought me home Sunday evening and were going to decorate at the Ava Cemetery. Cheryl Holloway visited Fae Saturday evening.
No other news turned in and I was gone the weekend so I didn’t know anything going on at the village.
Saturday evening Amy June and Jacob came and took me to the farm for the weekend. Bud, Ralissa and Lane Watkins joined the group on Sunday. Bud worked on the lawn mowers for Naomi and Peggy Greene. The two little ones had a good time playing in the creek in the afternoon. After a day of work and a nice picnic lunch, Bud and family along with Norma stopped at the Dogwood Cemetery and visited some of the graves then on to Ava then home.
If you have any news, just let us know. I’ll end by saying happy birthday to my son, Jerry Lee, on the second day of June. We wish you the best with many more to come. Remember Jesus loves you!
