A good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a great and safe weekend as there were lots of rain and storms in different places. No damage here that I know of. We are blessed people.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.
Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
We send greetings to all who have a brithday at this time. A special greeting to Dalton Watkins, who had a big day on the 23rds. May you all have a great day with many more to come.
On Thursday the 20th we had our monthly dinner. We had several visitors as we had a mother and daughter dinner to honor the mothers. A potted plant was given to each of our resident mothers that was there. We had 19 residents that signed the book and 14 guests. Our hats are off to Emmalyn for all the hard work she did putting everything together and to everyone that helped to make our dinner a great one.
This news from the desk of Lois Graham. On Thursday Gina Tompkins and daughter, Alyssa of Oklahoma visited. They are Lois’s great niece and great, great niece.
Those who visited Norma Jones this past week were Naomi, Ralissa, Jacob and Lane Watkins. She had phone calls from Robin and Stephinie to see how she was doing. She appreciates the visits and phone calls.
On Sunday night, I “Norma” went to the farm to spend the night and all day Monday with Naomi, Amy June and Jacob Watkins as I hadn’t been there for a while then back to town Monday night.
No other news so will sign off and try to get something done.
Have a good week and stay healthy. If you have news, just let us know.
