Red Bud News

A good Tuesday morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and good weekend. The weather was a bit on the cool side and the wind was strong at times. A person sure did need a jacket to guard from the wind. Well so much for my weather report.

We send get well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals, and the nursing homes. May you be up and about real soon.

Our sympathy to all who have lost a loved one. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We send greetings to all the people who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come. Again we say happy birthday.

This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Those who visited Lois on her birthday were her niece, Brenda Garrison with a raisin pie and Kathy Coats with candy. Also got a surprise phone call from Terry Coats of Mountain Grove. I also got some pretty cards. I appreciate you all. Several family members attended the graduation at Ava School Saturday night to see Derek Watkins and Charles Bruton receive their diplomas along with others. We wish the graduates the best in their future and for a job well done. Some of the family also attended the Assembly on Friday afternoon.

Visitors of Norma Jones have been Bud, Peggy, Ralissa, Lane, Derek and Kim Watkins.

Friday night Norma Jones went to the Seymour FFA Banquet with Bud, Peggy and Lane Watkins to see Rose Rippee receive her awards. There were about eight of them. We appreciate Rose for the invitation and congratulation on a job well done. Rose is a Senior at Seymour High School. We also appreciate everyone that helped make the sale for the Oats bus a great success. Our hats are off to you.

I’ll sign off for now, maybe more news next week. Until then, have a good week and stay healthy. Jesus loves you.
