May 18 – We came to praise the Lord Wednesdy evening at Caney. Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed everyone to service. Aspen Isaacs blessed us by singing. Br. Jeff Shipley took prayer requests and led the devotional. Bro. Hi Lambeth led in prayer. Devotion was from Colossians 2:11-23.
May 22 – Services opened with song. Prayer requests were taken by Bro. Jack Essary. Prayer was given by Bro. Jeff Shipley. Sunday devotional reading was from Isaiah 43:15-21. Worship service with birthday and anniversaries. Riley Isaacs had his fourth birthday. Gracie Shipley sang for the young people. We had special music by Charlotte Roberts and Jim Lafferty. Bro. Bill was back for preaching service. Psalms 73:17, “When I Went To The House of God.”
Sunday evening service began with singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed all. We have so many concerns for God to take care of. Sis. Janice Lafferty led in prayer. Testimony was given by Janice Lafferty and Melba Austin. Pastor Bill brought the evening messge from I Cor. 10:1-12. The Isralites lived under the shadow. Christians today live in the reality. Isralites had the promise of Christ. Christiaqns today see the fulfillment of Christ. We live under His mercy and grace not under the law.
