Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone. Prayer requests and praise reports were taken. Sis. Laurena Mitchell led in prayer. The church stood and recited Psalms 23 for our devotion. After a very good Sunday school lesson, Sis. Tracy Shipley led our little ones in song. What a blessing. Testimonies were given by Jim Lafferty, Jeff Shipley, Hi Lambeth, Janice Lafferty and Laurena Mitchell.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Those singing specials today were Melissa Harmon, Melba Austin and Laurena Mitchell. Bro. Jim Lafferty was our speaker. Sunday morning he brought his message from II Chronicles 7:12-16. God is always within reach and hearing. He will always supply our needs. Our nation needs to repent and follow Him.
Sunday evening service began with singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed everyone. We have lots of concerns to take before the Lord. Bro. Jeff led in prayer. Testimonies were given by Jim Lafferty, Jack Essary, Melba Austin, Janice Lafferty and Ethel Metcalf. Ethel Metcalf sang a song Sunday night. Bro. Jack Essary brought the evening message. He spoke from I Samuel 14. If we go in the name of the Lord, He will help us do what He asks us to do. There is a giant in your life. God can help you conquer if you trust Him.
A wonderful time in the Lord was had today at Caney Church.
