Opening Sunday school, Roy Hampton read Matthew 15:32-39 and led in prayer. Lee Hampton taught Luke, chapter 7 for our lesson. We had questions and answers. We sure learned a lot by looking the questions up. Roy Hampton took up the morning offering. Jessee Lafferty led the offering prayer. Joe Lafferty had his 81st birthday. We sang happy birthday to him and many more. We had testimonies and sang congregational songs. Susie Sisco sang. Joe Lafferty, Clara Lafferty and Susie Sisco also sang together.
Today was communion day, the Lord’s Supper and Foot Washing. We had lunch and preaching after lunch. Joe Lafferty preached the 11 o’clock service in Luke 17:19-23 and prayed before he preached. Jessee Lafferty dismissed the services in prayer. Roy Hampton prayed before we ate. We had a good service. Services were dismissed Sunday night.
