Well this Sunday our attendance was pretty poor. I don’t know what happened, maybe we all got spring fever.
Opening Sunday school Roy Hampton read Matthew, chapter 16, verses 24-27. Take up they cross and follow me, then led in prayer.
Lee Hampton taught the adult class in the sixth chapter of Luke.
Wilma Hampton got to be with us, we had questions and answers. Clara Lafferty led the offering prayer. Roy Hampton took it up.
Ronnie Thomas got to attend, but he had quite a cold. We had congregational singing. Sue Sisco sang an old song that Joe’s uncles used to sing.
At 11 o’clock Joe Lafferty preached on Matthew chapter 16, verse 20 then prayed, before he preached.
We had a few testimonies. Wilma Hampton’s knees are some better. She has to stay off of them which for Wilma is pretty hard. She’s always doing something. It’s pulled muscles and tendons right now.
We did an invitational song. We were dismissed in prayer.
Evening service started with singing. Lee Hampton took the preaching service and led in prayer.
Susie Sisco and Joe Lafferty sang. Lee’s sermon was in Mark 14-22. Susie Sisco sang a song she wrote. We had testimonies and Sue Sisco dismissed in prayer.
Until next week, God bless.
