Carol Moore came by last Monday and picked me up and then we went over and got Marie Dickey and took her to Mansfield to her O.E.S. meeting.
When I took my news in last Teusday I went by Marie Dickey’s and visited with her.
Dora McBrayer and her son, Earl Carr, came by last week and visited and they were looking for a house to rent in the country with three bedrooms in it, but I didn’t know of any right now.
George and Violet Blakey dropped by and visited with me for a while Thursday.
Friday I went over to the Perfroming Arts Building where they were presenting the awards to the Class of 2011 Seniors. I was presenting the Michael Blakey Math Scholarship to Kaylynn Miller. I wish her lots of luck in college.
I stopped by Mona’s Café that morning and dropped off some Guidepost for her sister, Mary Lue Garfit, whose house burned down. I had given her some once before and she loves to read. They lost everything so I thought it would get her mind off the home that was gone.
Thursday I received one and nine-tenths of an inch of rain in my rain gage that morning and then Saturday morning I had another five-tenths of an inch of rain. Donna Nichols came by Friday evening and picked up her eggs on her way down to see her mother, Mae Cox.
Mark and Mark Weston came Saturday with some eggs. Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey, Carol Moore, Doris Morrison and Hellen Blakey all went to Mountain Grove to the Past Matron and Past Patron Meeting at the Sunny Side Café and we had a wonderful time after the meeting.
Mt. Tabor had lots out from church Sunday, but we enjoyed having Bob and Drevas Ann Turner with us.
I went over to the nursing home after I got home from church and visited with Pauline Schauffler, Roxie Heimeyer and Peggy Jenkins.
My sympathy and prayers goes out to all the ones who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers. Some are sick at home, in hospitals and some will be going into the hospital so they all need our prayers.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
