Many of the church ladies went to Branson Saturday, May 14. They enjoyed yard sales, lunch, and an afternoon music show.
Today two choir specials: “Where He Leads I’ll Follow” and “Heavenly Sunlight”. Bro. Rick Batten’s sermon was from Romans 12: 1-2 and Romans 7: 18-19 and 24. His title was Perfection. No one can truly reach perfection, but everyone’s goal should be to try to be a living sacrifice. We need to: have control, be obedient to the Lord, say no to temptations, say no to the almighty dollar, say no to trading in your wife, say no when your temper flairs up, be willing to apologize and say you’re sorry, etc.
