Olga News

This week has been busy with high school graduations as two of my grandchildren have graduated. We enjoyed seeing both Jeffrey Inman and Caitlyn Morris graduate. Jeffrey graduated from Ava and Caitlyn from Ozark.

Congratulations to all of our graduates. Sunday we celebrated the high school graduation of Rosa Dobrick from Niangua. There was a nice dinner served in her honor following morning services at our church.

It is now the time when many of the cemeteries in our area are getting mowed and have begun to look ready for approaching Memorial Day visitors. We have the Union Chapel, Easter, Cardwell Chapel, Dogwood and Lee cemeteries in the area. I know they would all appreciate your donations as it takes a lot to maintain the local cemeteries and pay proper tribute to those who have gone before us.

Sarah Inman enjoyed conducting a tour of the Chateau Charmant recently with a group made up of her father, Danny Cheek of Kona, Hawaii and members of his family. Remember if you would like a tour of the castle in our neighborhood call 241-2321 for further directions.

My little brother, Johnny Nichols and his wife Diana have been visiting this area from their home in Goodland, Kansas. It sure was nice to see them and visit for awhile. I sure do miss seeing him so often and I look forward to his visits each year. They enjoyed seeing one of their granddaughters graduate with a paralegal degree. They really enjoyed the time spent with their family.

Kindall Store has been busy with activity as everyone has been anxious to get outside and enjoy some sunshine. It is so nice to have the store in our neighborhood and the convenience that it provides. We are proud of our family connection to the store and of the work that Charley Brindley has continued there. It is great that they can now take debit cards and EBT cards as well.

As the yard continues to grow, so do our chores outside. Therefore, I had better get to work. Have a blessed week and hope to see you out this way in the near future.
