The Norwood R-1 School Board met May 11.
The agenda was adopted and the consent agenda items were approved.
Superintendent Don Forrest reported on budget and insurance changes for 2011-12.
Dana Webb, elementary principal, reported on testing, staff training and kindergarten screening.
Marcella Swatosh, high school principal, reported on professional learning community review and graduation.
The board also approved resignations from Courtney Davault, Terri Tabor, and Morris Jenkins and David Drake for junior high basketball.
Aleth Rogers, Amanda Sims, Angela Nuckels, Drew Berry were approved as teachers; David Drake for cross country coach; Tyler Jones for junior high basketball coach; and Drew Berry for assistant girls’ and junior high basketball coach.
The next regular meeting will be June 15 at 5 p.m. in the Norwood School Library located in the high school building.
