These funds have been able to help children with shoes, glasses, haircuts, school pictures, coats, club dues, yearbooks, and many other items that a child needs but many times cannot have or participate in because of financial limits.
The Jacob Yeates Foundation currently has a ‘Jake Fund’ set up in 13 schools reaching a total of 7439 students in Douglas, Ozark, Wright, Howell and Christian counties. They have been able to grant over $22,400 to these school districts since the start of the foundation in 2008.
