5-3-11. Well here we are in May and still getting down in the thirties at night. It’s 46 degrees now at 1:15 p.m. and cloudy and breezy. Yesterday was nice and sunny, but still with a cool breeze. But as I always say, I can’t complain too much. It could always be worse, much worse. Just look at the news of all the tornadoes. I really feel sorry for those people and would like to go help them, but afraid I wouldn’t be much use with my bad knee, bad ankle and sore toes and all the other things that ail me. I went to a foot doctor and he looked at my toes and said to put Lamisil on them twice a day for four months, even though it says it didn’t kill nail fungus he said it was the same thing they write a prescription for. I thought he would take the rest of the toe nails off that are infected, but he didn’t. If I’d known that I could have been using it from the first sign of trouble.
Harley Cox is home from the hospital. They said his blood was too thick and he had a stroke. They’ve got him on Lipitor now. So I guess he’s back to about the same as he was before he went to the hospital. He still needs your/our prayers as does Jeff Heatherly. And it wouldn’t hurt to throw one in for Betty too and ask that she keeps on getting better.
Frank said that his friend, Elaine, had a friend who was killed in the Alabama tornadoes. Our sympathy to her.
We’re on our way to Tipton for me to run my monthly errands and we’re almost there so I better say bye, bye for now and get this ready to mail.
