Douglas County Public Library Launches Summer Reading Program

Calling all world travelers!

Hop on board as the Douglas County Public Library presents “One World, Many Stories” during the 2011 summer reading program.

The program is open to ages 3 to 11 with story hours, crafts, games and prize drawings. Teens ages 12-18 can participate in “You Are Here” by picking up a gameboard at the library, completing the reading requirements and returning it to the library for a certificate and prize.

Pre-registration is required.

Schedule:

Ages 3-5: Mondays, 10:30 to 11 a.m. June 6, 13, 20, 27, July 5 (Tuesday), 11.

Ages 6-11: Wednesdays, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 8, 15, 22, 29, July 6, 13.

Ages 12-18: Pick up a reading log at the library, complete and turn in for a certificate and prize.
