Douglas County Library Has Several Programs Lined Up For Summer

The Douglas County Public Library has several programs lined up for summer 2011.

Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m., Robert Liebert, program on the folklore and uses of Ozark herbs.

Thursday, June 9, at 10 a.m., David Tower from Castlewood Shows and Entertainment with a magic show.

Thursday, June 23, at 10 a.m., Chester Drawers children’s show.

Thursday, July 14, at 7 p.m., Dwayne and Barbara Smith with songs and comic stories from the Ozarks and British Isles.

Thursday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m., Green Mountain Messengers, Oake and Rocky Teske, music program.

All programs are free, and don’t forget to sign your children up for the 2011 Summer Reading Program – “One World, Many Stories” for ages 3 to 11 and “You Are Here” for ages 12-18.
