Jim read scripture from Isaiah 65:1-16. No matter what comes our ways as God’s children, God makes a way of escape. We had several testimonies with wonderful thoughts. Sis. Melba dismissed us in prayer.

Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone. Prayer requests and praise reports were given. Sis. Elsie Combs led our hearts in prayer. Jack read Psalms 11 for our devotion.

After Sunday school happy birthday was sung to Kourtney Shipley. Testimonies were given by Jeff Shipley, Janice Lafferty, Charlotte Roberts, Vanessa Mills, Melba Austin and Elsie Combs.

Praise and Worship began with singing. Singing today were Jim Lafferty, Charlotte Roberts, Laurena Mitchell, Melissa Harmon, Tabitha Kinyon and Jimmy Lafferty. Pastor Bill Austin brought the morning message from Exodus 2:1-24. He spoke of a mother’s love. What a blessing to have a mother who will and does teach you of Christ and His love for you. Each mother was given delicious chocolates in honor of Mother’s Day.

Sunday evening service began with singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley everyone. Prayer requests were taken and we have so many concerns – the lost, sick, military and nation. Sis. Ethel Metcalf led in prayer. Testimonies were given by Ethel Metcalf, Charlotte Roberts and Hi Lambeth. Singing tonight were Ethel Metcalf, Charlotte Roberts and Jim Lafferty. Pastor Bill spoke Sunday evening from Ruth. Naomi was a great example to those around her . They wanted what she had. They wanted the God she served. She was a blessed woman in the lineage of Christ. Are we an example to others?

Charlotte appreciates her church family and everyone who has held her son, Kirk, up in prayers. His major surgery went well and now his long journey of therapy has begun to a full recovery. She will be spending the recovery time with Kirk at Osage Beach where he is employed and lives.

Please continue to pray for him.
