Ken and Debbie Cederlind and Moe and Kaylynn Todd came down Sunday and they went with Bonnie Phipps and Cecilia Edwards to church and then they went back to Bonnie’s home and had a Mother’s Day dinner with Bonnie.

My rain for last week was one and sixth-tenths of an inch of rain last Monday., one-tenth of an inch on Thursday and three-tenths of an inch by 8 a.m. Saturday morning.

Violet Blakey came by last Monday and picked up some eggs, then later on I went to town and went by Pat Miller’s and took her a loaf of bread and visited with her. Pat said she was still weak and didn’t care for food because it didn’t taste to good without salt.

I went by Justin Coonce’s and visited with him for a while. He hasn’t been working with all this rain.

Carol Moore came and picked me up that evening and we went on over and got Marie Dickey and went to our O.E.S. meeting. The O.E.S. Ladies honored the Mason with a big supper last Tuesday before their meeting and we had 19 Masons there. Charolotte Bock came and picked up Marie Dickey and Hellen Blakey and took us over to the hall and then Carol Moore brought us home.

Mark Weston’s school went to Jefferson City Wednesday and they toured the capital and then they went to the police station where they showed them a police car that Bonnie and Clyde had shot up.

Thursday I tried to start my lawn mower and it wouldn’t start so Dan Herrell got it started for me and he mowed a little along the highway for me.

Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey, Carol Moore, Doris Morrison and Hellen Blakey all went to Plato Friday to Janet Lang’s Grand Representative of Alabama in Missouri. There were 69 to 72 there and we had a wonderful time.

Hershel and Landon Fleetwood came by Saturday while they were in town and got some country eggs to take back to Ozark with them and then later on Evelyn Bryan came by and picked up some eggs for them.

Sunday I received a call from my sister, Katie Moulder and my daughter, Monica Reemes and son, Vernal, who told me he was coming down to get me after I got out of church so I could spent Mother’s Day with him. They were going to BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers. Those eating were Bill and Deloris Vaughn, John Vaughn, Bubba Vaughn, Chuck Vaughn, and fiancee, Karen Jacobs, Vernal and Ellen Blakey and Hellen Blakey.

I stayed all night with Vernal and Ellen and Bill and Deloris brought me home Monday morning.

Sherry Blakey and Kelsey came Sunday morning and brought me some beautiful yellow lilies and a Mother’s Day card. I called James and Ellis’s house before I went to Springfield so they would know where I was at.

Lets keep those prayers going for our sick folks. My prayers and sympathy go out to all that have lost a loved one.

Lets keep praying for our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training.

Sunday I received a call from Bill Edmonds to wish me a happy Mother’s Day and he said he had just got through talking to Joann Bean and she was doing okay.
