Sunday morning service began with music and prayer requests then prayer and congregational singing of hymns.
Venita Brummet, Cheryl Hopper and Cindy Smith did a fantastic job on the special song.
Brother Roberts brought the message from Galations 5:16-17, “Walk In The Spirit.”
Sunday night we had the pleasure of the Heritage Singers ministering to us. They are truly a blessing with their talent of spirit, music and fun.
I talked with Aunt Violet Morris this week and she said Uncle Hugh was not feeling up to par. She told me they have a new administrator there now and we hope they will be good with the residents.
Jack and Barb Breshears made a trip to Batesville, Arkansas and had a good visit with their son, Preston Breshears and family this weekend.
Miracle Breshears spent the weekend with us and while here we went to the school carnival. Stacie Hamby and Lexie went with us. The girls played the games and Stacie and I just found chairs and waited on them. We later went by Mc Donald’s for burgers and fries then Lexie came home with us and watched a movie. We enjoyed the company.
Delmar has been busy working outside and I have been busy hemming quilts.
Pauline Okhuysen, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Jack and Barb Breshears came by and visited and joined us for ham and beans.
It has been a good week and we are thankful we didn’t get the tornadoes and storms like a lot of people.
My brother, Vern Deatherage and wife, Kathleen, made a trip to Albequrque, New Mexico to visit family and friends.
We heard from my nephew, Noah Deatherage, who lives in Selma, Alabama and the storms missed his place about 40 miles. We are thankful he is ok.
We feel sad for the people who were affected by the storms.
Delmar and I visited on Monday with Keith and Donna Bannister and Summer and Caidence Johnson. It was Donna’s birthday so I sang to her.
Caidence is really growing and is soooo smart.
Until next week, I Know Who holds Tomorrow.
