We started out our week with our women’s prayer meeting, and our Wednesday night Bible study group. We studied in the book of Joshua in chapters 6 and 7 discussing Achan’s sin. We had some people who needed special prayers and are sure our loving Savior fullfilled and met those needs. Sunday morning we had 20 ppeople attend services. We had a long list of prayer requests to lift up to the Lord. After Sunday school the children sang some wonderful praises to the Lord and for the congregation. We sang songs together, our morning message was focused on “How Strong Is Your Witness” and how easy by faltering a little bit that it can be destroyed. The delivered word was from Galatians 6:6-10. It was a very moving sermon. God’s people can not waiver in good works or business for the King. And we should do it with the right heart and for the Glory of God. Well doing comes with spiritual growth and spiritual growth comes from intercession and meditating on the word of God.
Our evening services we had 22 people attend. We are proud and know God is pleased that we welcomed four new members into our church. We also had one during morning service dedicate his life to the Lord. We praise Him for His blessings and ask that He continues to bless those who come forth and dedicate their lives to Him. We had several praise reports and prayer requests along with singing. Bro. Scott, Bro. Lyndon and Sis. DiAnne sang a special. Bro. Scott brought forth the word from the book of Haggai 2:6-9. It came out as we can stand on the promises of God, but in turn we have to do our part.
We are also exicted to announce that we are going to start up our Second Sunday singing so musicians and singers and all who want to join us. We will be holding our singing this month on May 8th at 2:00 p.m. Bring your instruments and voices and come praise the Lord with us.
Our revival will also start on May 16 and go through as long as the good Lord sees fit. Our evangelist for that week will be Bro. Justin Lawson and start time will be at 7:00 p.m. nightly. We urge all to come and get a reviving of the heart!
