Last Weeks News – Good morning to this Tuesday morning, April 26. My haven’t we had a lot of rain. But at the moment the sun is shining.
I need to correct an article in my last weeks column where I expressed to Doug Fredrick and brother, in the loss of their mother, I should have had brothers (as he has three brothers.)
Ann Collins spent from Sunday the 17th of April until last Wednesday with Carol Wise and Riley in Springfield. Chris brought her home last Wednesday night.
Ann Collins and I visited awhile Thursday evening with Agnes Williams.
Friday morning I met Tracy, Hannah and Devin Griffith at Ava Wal-Mart parking lot and we went to Moberly and visited Debbie and Shelby Hutchison, Jamie, Devin, Bailee and Lauryn Snodgrass. Of course I stayed at Jamie’s with the little ones. Shelby took me to an Easter play Saturday night at one of the churches. We came home Sunday evening. It didn’t rain on us until we were on our way home.
The redbud and dogwood trees were so pretty after we got up around Jefferson City.
Karen and Doug Frederick had supper Friday night with Bertha and Dean Scherer.
Agnes Williams had dinner Sunday with Janet, Paul and Katlyn Smith.
Karen Fredrick picked Cole Bradshaw up Monday then Sirena and Izzy came and spent the night and they went home Tuesday morning in time for work and school.
Old timers always said if it rained on Easter Sunday it would rain seven Sundays in a row. We’ll have to see if it does.
