May 1, 2011 – Morning Bible reading was from Revelations 22:16-21. Special prayer requests were for Joe Hickey, Art Cabot, Connie Lee’s sister-in-law, and the military men and women.
Sunday school lesson was from Romans 1:1, Paul setting up the early churches. It was a very good lesson. We heard special songs from Linda R. and Betty H. We had a very good testimony service. The church was so blessed to have some of our ill people back – Connie and Leah, Wanda C., Bonnie and Bill and Don Graham. We give God the glory for their presence.
The morning message was from Isaiah 40:28. Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the creator of the ends of the earth fainteth not, neither is weary?
The evening service started with prayer requests for Pat and Brian, Donna Applequiest and family, Joe H., John and Laurin, Miranda Hale – another one of God’s miracles in North Carolina, Angie, Preston Breshears, Gaulding baby and Linda Donnelly. Special songs were by Bevy and Linda R. We discussed I Corinthians 15:58. Your christian walk needs to be or I should I say, it has to be rock solid. It’s not what I do in front of people in my every day living, we are the only Bible some people see, walk accordingly!
