The Wright County Children’s Home is honored to be one of the beneficiaries of a very special upcoming event.
The 4th annual Jake Yeates Memorial Fundraiser Drag Race will be held on Saturday, May 21 at Ozark Raceway Park in Rogersville. Gates open at noon with time trials at 2 p.m.
The opening ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. with eliminations immediately following. The entry fee for spectators will be $10 for adults. Kids 12 and under will be free with a paying adult.
All proceeds will benefit the Jacob Yeates Foundation, which provides funding for needy students in 13 local school districts for things like coats, shoes, school pictures, club dues, field trips, etc.
Attendees can earn extra tickets for the giveaway items by bringing a donation of school supplies that will be donated to the Wright County Children’s Home.
