Well I think we all are gonna have to build an ark if it keeps on raining. I hope it don’t dry up later on and burn everything up.
Joe Lafferty opened Sunday school reading the 2nd chapter of Psalms. Roy Hampton led the opening prayer.
Lee Hampton taught the 4th chapter of Luke. Wilma Hampton is still having trouble with her knees.
Lee Hampton asked the offering prayer. Roy Hampton took the morning offering.
Sue Thomas was there to play the piano for congregational singing. We was so glad to have her. Mrs. Rhoda Thomas is about the same. Susie Sisco sang.
At the 11 o’clock hour Joe Lafferty prached on the 5th chapter of Matthew and led in prayer.
Evening services started with singing. Jessie Lafferty preached on Deuteronomy 4th chapter and 30th verse. Roy Hampton preached on Matthew chapter 12 verse 34 and Matthew 13:40 and Leviticus 20:13.
Joe Lafferty did a summary of the scriputres read. Joe Lafferty dismissed the service in prayer.
Don’t forget Tag That Preacher Saturday, May 7 at Breedon Church. Finger foods and coffee afterwards.
