Well lets start off with the liquid sun shine we got this week. Last Monday morning I reported I had two inches of rain, well by 6:45 that night I had another two and a half inches of rain. Last Tuesday morning I received five-tenths of an inch of rain and Wednesday I had one and a half inches of rain by 4:30, for the month of April I ended up with fourteen and sixth-tenths of an inch of rain.
I got out Tuesday and took my news in to town. George and Violet stopped by and picked up some eggs. Wednesday night I went to Bible study and we finally finished the book of Job. We will start Romans this Wednesday with Kay Hutchison as our leader.
Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey, Carol Moore and Hellen Blakey all went to Jerry’s Whirl Wind at the El Rancho Truck Stop and Restaurant Thursday night and had a wonderful time with all the other chapters that were there.
Friday I got out and mowed my yard and finished it up Saturday morning before it started to sprinkle.
Jo Stephens stopped by Friday afternoon on her way home. I was sorry to hear of the death of Shirley Jessen’s son, who died Thursday night on his motorcycle. I went over and visited with them Saturday afternoon.
We have lots of sick folks out there so keep those prayers going.
My prayer and sympathy goes out to the Shirley Jessen family and all the others who have lost a loved one.
Keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
