Sunday morning at Walnut Grove Church began with a breakfast then Sunday school. We then had a video, which was very good. Bill and DeDe Arington and Candy Lane sang a beautiful special, then there was a baptism. Brother Roberts then brought the message from John 10:10 and Romans 8:11, “Living The Abundant Life.”
Spending Easter weekend with Jerry and Suanne Sutherland were their daughter, Dianna Bernhard and their granddaughters, Cassidy and Caitlyn.
Marilyn Sickler visited on Monday morning with Nora Edwards.
Spending Monday through Wednesday with Bob and Nora Edwards was Charlie Rogers of Liberty, Mo.. Joining them Monday evening for a weiner and marshmallow roast were Toby and Jacinda Sheppard and Dallee Sheppard and friend, Aubrey.
Visiting Nora Edwards on Friday were Alexis Swearengin, Kendra Walker, Dallee Sheppard and Jessica Fraidy.
Having Easter morning breakfast with Bob and Nora Edwards were Ruth and Stasey Sheppard, Toby and Jacinda Sheppard, Kendra Walker, Miranda Milligan, Shawn and Alexis Swearengin. They all attended church together at Walnut Grove Church then returned to the Edwards’ home for Easter baskets and egg hunt (inside of course). Later the Sheppards and Edwards enjoyed a fish fry at the home of Toby and Jacinda Sheppard and family. Cody and Ryan Breshears also joined them and then spent the night.
Having Easter dinner with Delmar and Margaret Rosseau were, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Rusty, Becky, Hailey and Maeson Carter, of Nixa, Gary and Bevy Moore, of Ava, Bill and Jeraldeen Carter, of Mansfield. Visiting later in the afternoon were Jack, Barb and Miracle Breshears.
The rain seems to just keep on coming down. We have had 14 ½ inches of rain since Friday. We are so thankful for all of our friends and neighbors who checked on us.
