Red Bud News

A good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter even with all the rain and storms. It wasn’t a very good day for an egg hunt outside, but I’ll bet the children found something to do. Steven’s children amused themselves by throwing the grass out of the Easter baskets all over the house and even on top of the refrigerator, table and microwave. After all the fun of tossing and the throwing of grass, clean up time was next. There is not much fun in all that. Well so much for our Easter story.

We want to send get well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.

No news turned in last week so will try to catch up on some of the happenings.

Thursday was our monthly dinner with a great turn out. There were 24 residents that signed the guest book and four guests. We appreciated all who helped to make our dinner a great succss. After dinner we had a sing along with Peggy Greene at the piano. We welcome her back any time to play and sing for us. And your reporter has been on the run again, somewhere every day for a week – church on Saturday and Sunday, Springfield with Naomi on Monday, went with the Highway Church on Tuesday to Dora, blood unit on Wednesday and church dinner Thursday, Wal-Mart on Friday and with Bud and family to a fish fry at Thornfield on Saturday night then back to church Sunday and Sunday night. I also went to Springfield with Steven on Monday. I am now ready to rest.

Our sympathy to all who have lost a loved one. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

Greetings to all the birthay people, may you have a great day with many more to come. An update on the tulip bed, not very pretty after the wind and rain. Mostly just green stems. Three flowers still remain after having about 80, it looks kind of blank.
