Kiwanis Club of Ava will be observing Kiwanis Prayer Week May 1-7. The observance usually coincides with National Day of Prayer, which is observed on the first Thursday of May. Although this event is no longer observed widely in Kiwanis Clubs, Ava club feels it is still very important and would like to invite the general public to attend as well.
On May 5, Les Hallmark, pastor at Red Bank Church, will be the guest speaker. Bro. Hallmark will be speaking on the topic of prayer, reminding us of its importance, not only in our every day lives, but as we strive to “serve the children of the world.”
