Well it sure has rained. I guess we was pretty dry, but not now.
Opening Sunday school Lee Hampton taught the third chapter of Luke, lots of generations and big names to pronounce.
Wilma Hampton is still having trouble with her knees. We had questions and answers. Roy Hampton took up the morning offering and led in prayer. The congregation sang and Ashley Lafferty and Susie Sisco performed a special while David Lafferty played. Joe Lafferty preached Luke 24 and St. John 20:11 then prayed. Lee Hampton dismissed the service in prayer.
Evening service started with singing. We had three preachers, Lee Hampton, Roy Hampton and Jesse Lafferty. Joe Lafferty closed the preaching service. The main scripture was 23 Psalms. Susie Sisco sang. We had just a few in attendance due to a lot of rain and flooding. Jesse Lafferty preached I Will Fear No Evil. Roy Hampton preached on St. John chapter 1 and Luke 12:3, Proclaim The Word On The House Tops. Joe Lafferty told of his experience in the hospital and commented on the 23 Psalms. A few testimonies were given. Also pray for the sick and the lost. Ashley Lafferty dismissed in prayer. Until next time, God bless.
