NEWS FROM 10TH GRADE
As a sophomore in high school, I have a lot of fun but a lot of homework too. Being in High School there is a lot of pressure on you about graduating and getting all your credits to graduate. When choosing classes to pick, you must have all your main classes first. You have to have eight classes and a couple of alternates.
My favorite classes this year are Agriculture, Science, English, Math, and Business Math. All these classes are fun because they all have amazing teachers who teach them. Be careful about what classes you choose because you may end up not liking them. Being a sophomore is hard but it can also be fun, you just have to try your hardest. – Ashton
So, life as a sophomore…a lot better than last year.
So life as a sophomore is kind of stressful. Your second year should be better but it gets worse because classes are harder, teachers know you better and they expect more from you. However, all in all, it’s awesome for me because I joined FFA and started doing good by donating blood and time to others. FFA is a big part of my life. It set me on the track of knowing what I want as a career in my future.
Sophomore year has helped me realize that the future isn’t too much further ahead and that it is time for me to get busy and focused. I wish I could stay a sophomore longer but I know its time to move on and grow older so that those younger than me can take my place. Then they can learn the lesson sophomore year has to offer. – Autumn
My name is Nathan and my life as a sophomore is kind of fun. A lot of friends and a lot of laughs are involved. I joined FFA which has really given me a lot more to do and a lot more friends from around the country. I’ve also gotten a lot more girlfriends from going to FFA events; such as Barnwarming. – Nathan
