The Wright County Children’s Home, located in Norwood, is pleased to announce that they have officially scheduled the first two events in their upcoming “Summer Concert Series.”
These concerts will be held in local communities and feature bluegrass and southern gospel music in some areas and will be free of charge to all who wish to attend.
The Mountain Grove area concert will feature local favorites, The Kellys, along with Higher Vision, and The Willhites. The event will be held on Saturday, June 25, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Mountain Grove, located at 314 N. Maple Street (north of the square).
The Hartville area concert will be held on Saturday, July 16, at Little Creek Baptist Church, located on the corner of F Highway and Alva Road, north of Hartville (less than a mile west of Hwy. 5).
This event will also feature Higher Vision, as well as additional bands to be named later.
Both the Mountain Grove and Little Creek concerts will begin at 7 p.m.
Representatives from the Children’s Home will be on hand at each event to provide information and answer questions regarding the Wright County Children’s Home facility and programs. A love offering will be taken with all proceeds going to support the Wright County Children’s Home.
These are only the first two events in the series, and more are in the planning stages to be announced as the summer unfolds. Please come out for a night of free music and fun, and hopefully learn something about a local organization that needs the help of the community to continue its important mission!
Wright County Children’s Home is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides emergency residential care for hurting Missouri children.
