Ladies of the Nubbin Ridge Homemakers Club met in the home of Terri Hall on April 14 for an afternoon meeting.
President Norma Stillings led the reading of the Club Collect. Two readings were given by Pat Banks, “A Baby’s Hug” followed by the “Senior Version of Jesus Loves Me.”
The ladies shared garden hints and flower bulbs.
Several plan to attend DOW Spring Fling in Gainesville on April 19.
Secretary Lois Strong read the minutes and treasurer’s report, which were approved as read.
Norma gave the latest information concerning the Community Garden and gardening in raised beds. Other planting and garden hints were shared.
Lois called four games of bingo, winners being Lois. Nadine, Pat and Bobbye.
Enjoying refreshments were Pat Banks, Geraldine Gray, Nadine Letsinger, Eva Painter, Bobbye Priddy, Norma Stillings, Lois Strong and hostess Terry Hall.
On May 12 Bobby Priddy will entertain the club at Bethany Baptist Church.
