Sunday school opened with a good morning from Bro. Marshall. We sang for Jesus. Bro. Marshall asked for prayer requests and there were many. We are really blessed to have a big God there for us. He can do anything when we ask, Amen. Sister Ulla led in prayer. Bro. Marshall read scripture from II Peter 2:6-8.
Bro. Dallas began Sunday school class with a good morning and Bro. Marshall read from Acts 13:4-12. Bro. Dallas did a review and then continued on into the new verses. We had a lot of class discussion.
We sang happy birthday to our little angel. We sang a good hymn. We took up our gifts for the Lord and Sister Lee blessed them with prayer. We had specials from Sister Peggy, Bro. Marshall and Sister Juanita. We were glad to have Cheyene Welch with us. He brought his guitar and helped out with the music. We are looking forward to having him join in more often.
Bro. Paul welcomed and read scritpure from St. Luke 19:29-45 and then prayed. God gave him a good message for us. We closed with a song and a prayer and a blessing on the food by Sister Mary. We moved to the dining area where we had good food and fellowship.
At 1:30 p.m. we began our communion and foot washing service. Bro. Marvin brought the message from I Corinthians 11:20-29 and led us through the service. We closed the service with some specials from Bro. Marshall and Sister Peggy with the congregation joining in.
The evening service opened with the prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. Prayer was led by Sister Juanita. We sang some good hymns for the Lord. We had specials from Bro. Marshall and Bro. Marvin. Bro. Paul welcomed all and then turned the service over to Bro. Marvin who gave us a great message from the Lord. You could feel the presence of the Lord. A real blessing. We closed with a song and Bro. Marshall led in prayer.
Lets remember to pray for all the victims of the tornadoes that we had over the weekend. Until next week, keep God in your heart and you will be blessed.
