Opening prayer to start our Palm Sunday Service was by Joie Welker.

After congregational singing, we were dismissed to Sunday school classes. We think of Palm Sunday as a high point of worship, His entry into Jerusalem as the triumphal entry, Jesus road a donkey, a lowly beast of burden and it fulfilled the prophecies of Zechariah.

Happy anniversary wishes went out to Joie and Stacey Welker.

Special song was by Wendell Deo, Wanda Casady, Faye Allen, and Narvil Tetrick.

Our church was saddened today after hearing the sad news of our church member, Joe Pete Miller. Our sympathy goes out to Jeannie and the family.

Remember our Sunrise Easter Service will be Sunday, April 24 at 6:30 a.m. with breakfast afterward. We are having the Children’s Easter Program in our morning service.

Also remember our Revival starting April 20, here are the correct times, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. then on Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. with Dr. Ron Roth. Please come and everyone is welcome.

Pastor Hall’s morning sermon was taken from Luke 23:26-38 with text from verse 33, “There they crucified Him.” The most holiest place, calvary, where He died for the sins of the world. Jesus died the most horrible death of anyone known and Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. The just for the unjust.

Sunday night service began with singing and many offered such touching testimonies. Bro. Hall read Luke 22:1-22 and we watched a video of the road and streets our Savior walked and vincinty where He would eat His last passover meal before He suffered and shed His blood for our sins. Then we had Holy Communion Service and gave praises and thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ. His love and mercy endureth forever.

May God bless and please attend a church of your choice this coming Easter Sunday.
