The DCAR club monthly meeting was held at the St. Francis Anglican Church on West 76. Meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month. All ham radio operators and those interested in learning about ham radio, please come out to our meetings. Lunch starts at 11 a.m. and the meeting follows. Members are from Douglas, Wright, Webster and Ozark counties, everyone is welcome.
During the April meeting, Ron Tost was honored for his service as president of the club. He was presented a beautiful clock for his desk.
DCAR is setting up for the annual field day in June. The event is on A Hwy, watch for more information next month.
A test session will be hosted at our next meeting on Saturday, May 21; testing begins at 9 a.m. Please be at the church by 8:30 a.m. The cost is $15; please bring cash and two IDs. And, if you are upgrading your license please bring your CSCE’s.
