Opening Sunday school Joe Lafferty read the 87th Psalms.
Susie Sisco led in prayer. Lee Hampton taught the 2nd chapter of Luke, “The Christmas Story.” We got through the Bible, book by book and started over. Wilma Hampton wasn’t in attendance. She’s having trouble with her knees. We didn’t have questions and answers because she enjoys looking them up. We decided to have an Easter egg hunt for the children next Sunday. I always like to do that. It seemed more like Easter. When you’re a kid you don’t realize Christ arose, until later on in life.
Roy Hampton asked the offering prayer. We sang congregational songs. Susie Sisco sang a special. We had good attendance today at the 11 o’clock hour. Joe Lafferty preached on the 13th chapter of Romans and led in prayer. We sang an invitational song. Roy Hampton dismissed in prayer.
Evening service started with congregational singing. Ashley Lafferty and daughter, Cheyenne, sang. Ronnie Thomas, Sue Sisco, Joe Lafferty and Clara Lafferty also sang as well as Ronnie Thomas doing a narrative and Joe Lafferty singing. Roy Hampton preached Matthew chapter 7:12-24 for his text. He prayed over the lesson. Jessie Lafferty preached Matthew 17 and II Corinthians 4:7 and prayed. Joe Lafferty commented on the same subject. Be ready when the Lord comes back for His children. Joe read Revelations 22-19. Ronnie Thomas dismissed in prayer.
Until next time, God bless.
