The annual community Good Friday worship service, sponsored by the Ava Area Ministerial Alliance, will be held this Friday evening at the Ava Assembly of God Church.
The service is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The Rev. Buddy Boyd, pastor of the host church, will bring the evening message, and churches of the community will provide special music. Other pastors of the community will also participate in the program and an offering will be received by the Ministerial Alliance to meet special needs of the community throughout the year.
Ava Assembly of God is located on Highway 5, just south of the Ava City Park.
