Debbie Cederlind came down Friday afternoon and stayed all night with her mother, Bonnie Phipps, and then went back home Saturday evening.

Bonnie went with Cecilia to church Sunday.

Last Monday morning I had one inch of rain in my gage. Friday I got 1.4 more, then Saturday I had another one-tenths of an inch. The total amount of rain for the week was two and a half inches of rain.

Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey, Carol Moore, Doris Morrison, Connie Bacorn and Hellen Blakey all went to Plato to their O.E.S. Meeting and after the meeting they gave Arlene Brown a farewell party because she is moving to Texas to live close to her son.

Last Tuesday while in town I went to Marie Dickey’s and that evening I went down to Mark’s to help Mark Weston celebrate his birthday and we had fish for our meal and was it ever good. When I got home Monica came by on her way home from work. George and Violet Blakey came by Wednesday afternoon and picked up some eggs, Violet and her sister, Joyce, had just returned home from a trip to Iowa to see their brother, Bill. Kay Hutchison stopped by that evening and got her eggs too. Marie Dickey took me out Thursday to Ruby Garden for dinner, that was a late birthday gift.

While in town Friday paying my house insurance I went by Marie Dickey’s and got some of her lettuce seed that comes back every year.

I went by the nursing home and visited with Roxie Heimeyer, Pauline Schauffler and Peggy Jenkins and had a wonderful time. Roxie’s niece, Teresa, who I hadn’t seen for a long time was there.

Saturday Donna Nichols came by and picked up her eggs and later on that night Evelyn Bryan came by and got the eggs that she was going to cook for me for the Sunrise Service on the 24th. Bro. David Dodson will bring us the Sunrise Service message at 7 a.m. and then after that we will serve breakfast and then we will have an Easter Program. Everyone is welcome and you can bring a poem or song to help us with. We like to share it with friends and families since it is all about the day the Lord rose from the grave.

We will be dismissed for the rest of the day.

Sunday after church I went into town and went by and saw John Miller and then I stopped and visited with Charlotte and Mike Bock and had a long visit with them.

Lets keep praying for our sick folks out there because the list keeps getting bigger and bigger.

My prayer and sympathy goes out to the Joe Pete Miller family and all the others who have lost a loved one.

Lets keep our leaders and men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.

Sunday evening James, Kristie and Lakota came by and Lakota looked like she had grown taller since I saw her last. Lakota is in track this week.
