We got a good shower of rain this morning. The grass will grow now. There is nothing like the spring of the year, flowers blooming and grass growing tall. The trees are leafing out.
Cathy Cornett, Tyler and Kayla stopped by one day and visited with me. The kids were on spring break.
Cathy had been checking on her Grandpa Jackson. He lost almost everything in a fire. It was thought to have started around the clothes dryer.
My sympathy to all that have lost loved ones.
The Lord has blessed us with a pretty nice spring so far, there are lots of wild onions and water cress, wish I could remember all the wild greens that my mom and grandma use to pick. They will soon be showing up.
Dick and I were in Springfield most of the day Tuesday having tests and etc. The results came back good. The youth sponsor’s from the Goodhope General Baptist Church took about twenty-eight youth to the Last Chance, at the Highway Church of the Nazarene, Tuesday evening. They reported it was great. We appreciate those that give of their time to work with the youth. We appreciate Larry, Debbie, Lisa, Kim and others. Saturday they did some mission work for Suzie Adams. She was so greatful.
We stopped by the nursing home Saturday morning for a visit with Peggy Jenkins. She is feeling much better.
