Rome

Hope everyone got some rain this weekend. The gardens need showers to make them grow.

Those visiting me over the weekend were Lisa and Tony Richards. They thought they would find mushrooms, but didn’t get any.

They shopped all day Saturday in Springfield. They were give out Sunday.

Braxton Richards spent the weekend with his dad, Cody Richards.

I talked to Braxton on the phone. He said he was fine.

Everyone have a good week.

The redbud and dogwood trees have started blooming. They are going to be really pretty this year. Only God could make such beauty.

Dick and I visited with Helen Dobbins last week and we had a short visit with Peggy at the nursing home.

I was standing at the kitchen sink one afternoon last week. I looked around and there stood Megan Cook, a neighbor girl. She brought me a bunch of wild flowers. It was so sweet of her to think of me.

DeAnn Thompson brought all the food for a picnic at our place Wednesday evening before church. There was twelve kids here plus Kelly, Dick and me. They all had a good time.

Julian Cavalier brought me some rich dirt for my garden. It sure was nice of him. We appreciate it.

Dick and I went to Sparta Thursday. We took my son, Danny Maloney, a rotatiller that we never use. We made a deal, we traded the tiller for veggies. Him and Beth always have a big garden. We went into Ozark to pick up some stuff and visit with Norma Cross for a while. We had lunch in Sparta.
