Superintendent, Jewell, welcomed everyone to a typical March day, in April, brought in by strong winds. We enjoyed gathering to praise the Lord, to pray for our requests, which continue to be many, the bereaved and fellowship together. We appreciated having Sister Sandy’s parents as our guests.

Mt. Tabor Church had a very successful men’s prayer breakfast last Saturday morning. With help from some of the wives, the men enjoyed a good meal and fellowship. This is planned for the first Saturday morning of each month, plan to come and join in.
Mt. Tabor will be having Easter sunrise service, beginning with preaching at 7 a.m., breakfast, an Easter program, than dismissal for the rest of the day, please join us.
Donna Nichols took Mae Cox for her doctor appointment in Springfield last Wednesday. While in town, they were able to say hello to Mae’s nephew, David Pruiett, who lives in Florida, but was here visiting his mother, Sue Pruiett, who is not in very good health.
Kay Hutchison visited Carl and Retha Clements and Norman Duckworth last Friday afternoon. Carl and Retha are continuing to have some health problems and Norman has some dizziness, causing him to be tipsy and fall.
Company for Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock recently was their granddaughter, Stephy Jones and her boyfriend, Josh, of Springfield, Carl and Ruby Sievert, grandson and family, Carmen and Charlene Soto and Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harris.
Kay Hutchison visited James Milam Saturday afternoon. We send our sympathy to their family in the loss of Evelyn.
Bessie Hall was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Al Himmelsbach last Tuesday evening at a local eatery which was enjoyed by all. Al and Marge will soon be returning to their St. Louis home, after spending several days in their rural Ava home. Jewell Elliott, J.C. Hall, Mae Cox, and Tim Hall and children also visited Bessie.
Martin Hathcock visited Harold and Kay Hutchison Monday morning.
Jerry Pool and Don Bishop stopped Tuesday evening, bringing fish for Harold and Kay Hutchison.
Harlin Hutchison and Amy, visited the Harold Hutchisons Saturday evening. Harlin visited in the Mound community with cousin, Jeff Pool, and other friends.
