Happy Home Church

Morning service began with a good morning from Bro. Marshall. We sang a song for Jesus. Bro. Marshall asked for prayer requests and there were many. Sister Peggy led in prayer. Bro. Marshall read scripture from Micah, chapter 6, verses 7 and 8.

Bro. Dallas began Sunday school with a good morning and prayer. He asked Sister Lee to read Acts, chapter 13, verses 1-12. Bro. Dallas reviewed some from last week and continued further into the chapter. We had lots of class discussion.

Our little angel took up our Coins For Christ. She sure is growing up. Time sure does pass fast.

We sang some beautiful hymns for the Lord. We took up our gifts for the Lord. Sister Carlotta blessed them. Bro. Paul welcomed all and asked for the specials. Those who had specials were Bro. Marshall and Sister Peggy.

Bro. Paul read scripture from Ephesians, chapter 6, verses 5-18 and prayed. He gave us a good message from God. We closed with a song and altar prayer. We were dismissed in prayer by Sister Mary.

The evening service began with our prayer circle. It was a large circle with the Lord present. We had many prayer requests. Bro. Marshall led in prayer.

We sang some great hymns. The choir was in good voice both the morning service and evening service. We had specials by Bro. Marshall, Sister Peggy and Sister Ulla.

Bro. Paul read scripture from I Corinthians, chapter 10, verses 1-12. The Lord gave Bro. Paul a great message for us. We closed with a song and prayer by Sister Juanita.

Bro. J.W. and Sister Carlotta O’Neal were visiting with us today. We were so glad to have them with us.

Sunday, April 17, we will be having dinner following the morning service at 1:30. We will be having communion and foot washing service. Bro. Marvin Loftin will be the speaker.

Our Fourth Saturday Night Singing for April and May will be cancelled. See you in June.

Our Spring Revival will be held May 9-14 at 7 p.m. each night. Come and get a blessing.

Have a great week, keep God in your heart and you will be blessed.
