What a beautiful day the Lord made for us to gather and serve Him. Everyone was smiling as we began our Sunday morning service. Bro. Marshall began with a good morning to all. We sang a song for the Lord and prayer requests were made. Sister Mary led in prayer. Bro. Marshall read scripture from Daniel 7:13 and 14.
Sunday school class began with Bro. Dallas leading in prayer. Sister Sharron read a few verses from the lesson which is still in Acts. We are now in chapter 13. We had a lot of discussion. Bro. Dallas ended the lesson with prayer.
We sang happy birthday to Bro. Dallas and we had two angels to collect the coins for Christ.
It was time to sing for the Lord. The choir was in good voice. Bro. Paul welcomed everyone. Sister Lee gave the blessing on the offering. We had specials by Sister Peggy, Bro. Marshall, Bro. Tommy Newsom and family who were visiting with us and they gave us some beautiful music.
Bro. Paul read scripture from Exodus 34:29-5. He gave us a good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and altar prayer. Sister Naomi dismissed with prayer.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. Bro. Norman led in prayer. We sang some great hymns and had specials from Bro. Marshall, Sister Peggy, Sister Sharron and Sister Juanita. Sister Sharron and Sister Juanita sang a duo.
Bro. Marvin was with us and gave the message from the Lord. He used the book of Matthew to lead and guide him. We enjoy Bro. Marvin when he comes to visit.
We closed with a song and prayer by Bro. Marshall.
A few of us went to Amity Free Will Baptist last Wednesday evening for a night of revival. Bro. J.W. O’Neal is the pastor there and Bro. Gene Terry was the speaker. We enjoyed seeing our friends and having fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Have a good week. Keep God in your heart and you will be blessed.
